I love the Sci-Fi crowd, but we were a bit insular. We didn't like visiting the other stores as much, and I think that's been to our detriment. Variety is the spice of life, folks.

As most know, I only played tournaments for a very long time. No casual games. I did attend 4 tournaments at Rhubarb and the semi finals of the 'Ard boyz at COC.

Although I like both of the other stores themselves it's mainly a logistical issue for me of not having to transport everything as it is already at Sci-Fi-City. I also get less flak playing at Sci-Fi.......maybe that was just a "back then" thing but I don't know. Now that I'm not doing competitive gaming maybe I'll go there for a game that doesn't count for anything...

If you want to do a tournament at Rhubarb and don't feel like hauling your Eldar, you are more than welcome to borrow my CSM, Necrons, or DE (if I ever get them re-assembled)

Thanks for the offer but I'm not playing tournaments now. I'll likely haul my IG over there just for fun. smile.gif

The next one (in 6 months or so) will be more centrally located, and will also have missions and an faq made from all the stores that participated in the first one... this should help balance it even more than it was...

Good luck with doing an FAQ.....I'll certainly watch that thread.
