Well another week of job hunting and still nothing. Can not beleive that all these jobs that I have applied for over the past several months, never respond to your application.
I feel like I am being put behind an 8 ball. Man this sucks. |

I remember back in the day, places had the courtesy to call you back and turn you down.

I know lots of places that are not even accepting applications - they just tell you not to bother up front...

I remember doing the same thing. I put in applications anywhere I could, never heard anything. Took a part time job to pay for bills.
It was an 11th month gap from the moment I was no longer a Residential Designer till I got my current slightly lower paying job. -------------------- I am the Most Interesting Man in the World

Well as far as appling for jobs I have been using my contacts and the job board at Worklforce Central Florida. So I have been appling for jobs that are actually posted as vacant. I have also been using the state web page where they post all the jobs with the state of Florida.
This will allow me to get back into the system so I can complete my time for my pension from the state. I guess it is just that I am so used to being told you are under consideration or not within a reasonable time. |

I feel your pain. I've been out of work for over a year and I can't begin to tall you how many jobs I've applied for.
I would estimate that over 95% of them never call back, ever. It's very frustrating, but all I can tell you is keep the faith. |

I actually have two interviews this week. First one was today and went well, so we will see what happens. |
